I pray you will read this message, or share it with someone you know the Lord would want to hear it, and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to them. So very few have a "hearing ear" any more, because they have been under a gospel that is really no gospel at all, and preaching that does not conform them to righteousness, but only works in the a "form of godliness," yet they do not walk in the power of God. They cannot.

They have been bewitched by the Jezebel spirit, and led astray from the truth, YET, they are convinced they are ok. This is what the bible calls, "being deceived." Thinking you are so very right, and yet actually, being so very out of the will of God, and blind to His Word of truth. The heart gets hard, and they know it not, then when truth is presented, they will discredit the messenger, and balk at the truth, because they have only had the watered down version of it, and been so blinded by the powers of darkness and the world, and the flesh, they cannot see the glorious revelation of Christ, and the bringing of truth to their ears.

They have found what their flesh wants, and even if others with godly wisdom, tell them it is wrong, they will not act on such council, for their hearts have been "captured," by their fleshly desires. They will gather around them, those who will agree with them, and give them comfort, (which is really a false peace and false comfort).

I pray, as you read this message, even if it is not for you, that you will ask God to further break your heart, and allow the Holy Spirit to bring the weeping, and brokenness to you that cause your heart to be like Christ heart, and cry out day and night for His Church, the backslidden condition of the unbelieving believers as it were, that occupy the pews week after week.

We need a true conviction in the body of Christ, and brokenness, and weeping over sin, and true godly sorrow, and repentance, that leads to life!

May the valley of dry bones, once again come together, and have the life of the Holy Spirit of God , His breath, flow in them!

We all need this 'breath of Life," from the precious Holy Spirit, and our minds set on the things above, not on the things here upon the earth, that will all burn up like chaff.  

Please understand in the beginning here.  I am NOT saying to watch a sport, is a sin in itself. I am talking about the nation, and most Christians  "obsession" with sports and other entertainments.

Folks this nation, and most of what is called Church, has its eyes on sports, from soccer moms, to dads running to and fro with the kids in their sports activities, to spending huge amounts of the family money on sports gear, and tickets to stadiums that cost hundreds, and even thousands of dollars for a seat. These same ones who claim oneness with Christ,  hardly dribble anything in the tithe and offering, when the plate is passed at the local assembly, and forsake Sunday night service for a game on TV, or at the stadium. Pass up a chance to spend time with God in their secret closet of prayer, because the cable channel offers so many sports tonight !   Their children see this, and see that sports out weighs Jesus in their house.  More time is spent in front of the TV, or game room, or playing field, than time being spent, and taught to the children to be spent, learning about Christ !

Sports figures are admired and worshipped, their names are on the shirts some people wear, and people rush to get their autograph, and meet them, and touch them.   Tell me this is not a bewitching spirit !  Tell me the church, and the nation has not become hypnotized by these millionaires on the playing fields who get rich off selling their brand name clothes and shoes and gear.  Isn't it interesting, that football went from Monday night to Sunday?  Who do you think arranged that?  Not Jesus!

Some Churches, will put up big screen TV's, and encourage their congregation to attend the 'big game,' while the pulpit will be moved aside, and Bibles left at home, and hymnals and song books tucked away. In the days leading up to the "Bowl Day," there will be many who will not come to prayer meetings, or bible studies, but they will rush home from work to eat, and relax around the TV, and catch their favorite game, while pews and the mourners benches, are empty in the meeting house of God.

They will cheer and shout, while watching their games, and have emotions run high with everything from anger, and disappointment, to elation, and joy, depending on how their 'chosen ones' are doing. Forgetting, that as Christians, ' we ' are called the elect, or chosen ones of Christ. Forgetting, that Jesus did not die for them to choose entertainment, (of any kind), over prayer and worship and praise.   Colossians 4: 2 ), tells us: "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."

There is no mention in this verse, of being 'devoted'  to something that would 'draw you away' from your devotion to Christ.

The Apostle Paul made this clear as well, in ( II Corinthians 11: 1-4 ), I hope you will put up with a little of my foolishness; but you are already doing that. I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

Yet when they do make it to a meeting, some will sit as quite as a church mouse, and never will you hear the shouts of praise, and adoration, over the greatness of Christ.  Will they come in wearing the garments of praise, or will their hearts be dulled from all the intake of what the earth has to offer them? Many will never raise their hands and sing and weep, and shout glory to God, praise His Holy name, and give shouts of thanksgiving for who he is, and all he's done. The shouts of "Amen" will not be heard, until the closing of the service, for now they can rush out the doors, and into the restaurants, and then home to the games, home to the entertainment, where once again, what their heart really craves will cause them to bring a 'different shout.'

Once at work Monday, the conversations will turn to sports, the game, the coming games, the names and numbers, and all the figures of the players, and who is doing what, and where will they be headed next year. To all the latest movies, and Hollywood stars, and who's doing what with who.

The talk of the Word of God will rarely be mentioned, the discussion of His coming, will not be of great interest, the many names that describe Christ, such as Savior, Lord, Holy One, Great Physician, Lion of Judah, King of Kings, Faithful One, they will all be 'out ranked' by the common earthly names, of their sports hero's and movie stars. What God is doing in the earth, or in their Church, or in their lives, is not a topic of conversation, for those who have their minds on the flesh, and earthly matters, do not even know what God is up to any way, they have no idea.

Will they mention where they will be headed next year, or the next spiritual season of their journey with the Lord Jesus? Will they wear the garments of praise through the week, or the garments that bear the names of their favorite hero's ? Will they mention the greatness of Heaven, and the blessed assurance of spending eternity with Jesus Christ there? Certainly not.  All of these conversations about such things, are 'only found' upon the hearts and lips of those who truly belong to Christ Jesus, and enjoy being in his presence now, and long for his return.

The "Bewitching Jezebel spirit," is truly at work in the earth, to draw attention to her hypnotic ways, and mesmerize who she can, with the food and drink from her table, and take captive those who have never truly surrendered 'everything' to Jesus Christ. Yes the god of this world, we are told in scripture, has blinded the eyes of unbelievers, and the unbelievers that sit in the Church every week, and carry a Bible, and give their tithe, and do works for their Church, and yet 'do not truly Believe', and are not fully devoted to Jesus Christ.

Paul said in ( II Corinthians 4:3-6 )..."And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness, "made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge, of the glory of God in the face of Christ."

Let me ask you a question today dear one. Is your devotion to Christ alone, or is your devotion "Divided."? Is your interest in the Word of God, or in the world? Are you learning the scripture, and the promises of God, or are you keeping up on the latest events in sports, and Hollywood? Are you being edified daily, by the Holy Spirit, as you devote yourself to prayer and praise and worship, and the study of God's Word, or are you being schooled, and educated, in the current market, or sports hero's, or movie stars, or anything else that would rob you from knowing Jesus Christ in a deeper fellowship? Does your job take up your interest, and take your time away from 'quality time' with the Lord, and fellowship with the saints of God? Does your outward appearance, show the fruit of the Holy Spirit, or bear the name of your favorite hero? Do you spend more time reading about the sports hero's and Hollywood gossip, than you do the study of the Word of God?

If this describes you,  turn to Jesus and repent.  If your in a church that is filled with levity, and sports,  jokes, and entertainment for the flesh,  RUN !   Yes RUN from the game playing entertainment loving pulpits that do not challenge you with a word that will conform you to righteousness.

 RUN, from the houses of merriment !  Run from those who have no Cloud of the Holy Spirit upon them, but rather are empty clouds without rain, (no anointing).  JUDE 12,  These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. 

RUN to God, and  ask him for a fresh fire in your life and home, family and Church. Turn to Christ and cry out for a fresh Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire!  He will hear your prayer, offered with godly sorrow, which leads to real repentance and life. He will save you, or restore you, and bring you into his presence with the fullness of joy. He will show you where to go, where to find those who are truly His, and seek for His truth, and hunger for His word, and not condemn His prophets, and ruin them with their tongues !

Jeremiah 18:18   They said, "Come, let's make plans against Jeremiah; for the teaching of the law by the priest will not be lost, nor will counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophets. So come, let's attack him with our tongues and pay no attention to anything he says."

Simply put...  Let us discredit him !   "Let us say things about him to others that will cause them not to listen to his words, his preaching, his ministry.  Yes, he is from God, but we seek a "different gospel."  These things he speaks to us are too hard, too harsh.  God would never speak to us this way".

Revelation 18: 1- 5      

1.   After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. With a mighty voice he shouted:

  2. "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

 3.  For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,

 and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."

 4.  Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

  "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins,  so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

 5.  for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.  

 Beloved, do not let the sports and entertainment god rob you of your fellowship with Christ ! Do not let those fun loving entertainment loving churches destroy you and your family, because they have no real, true anointing, or understanding of the heart and ways of the Lord. You don't need jokes, and entertainment, you need the truth brought by the fire of the Holy Ghost, from leaders who are shut in with God, and seek His face, and bring a fresh fire from the throne of God each time you meet, and lives are truly changed, and the miracles of God abound, and repentance is not a dirty word !

 You will never need a substitute for Jesus, you will never need to look anywhere else for excitement, or thrills. Jesus is exciting! The moving of the Holy Ghost in your life, home, Church, will be for you, all you will ever want or desire, and Heaven will be very thrilling !   Praise His Holy Name !
